This product disintegrated on first use. The plastic went into the food that was being mixed!

Does what it says and stops most splashes. I was using for soup so had to move the hand held stick blender around to make sure I got all the vegetables so a few spots did escape as I had to move the top disc a little to get to them. However, really pleased with the purchase and would recommend.
